We are team Janus, from the IITA Institute in Salta province, Argentina. Our team is composed by Maximo Cansino, Maximo Rivero and Alejandro de Ugarriza, and our mentor is our profesor Gustavo Viollaz. The name was chosen referencing the roman god of doors, gates, doorways, passages and decisions, Janus, since that´s basically what our robot does and navigates thourgh. The team was formed having in to account the different habilities, levels of experience with the simulator and programming and the prefecrences of each student on the competition robotics class in the institute.

Following the June 23-25th Workshops, the RoboCupJunior Rescue League and the RoboCup Rescue Simulation League are going to host a simulation demonstration competition virtually. The competition will be run based on the RoboCupJunior Rescue Simulation (Demonstration) Rules 2020*. All teams under 19 years old as of July 1st 2020 are invited to this demonstration competition.
