Summary

This video was prepared for the Monster High team presentation for the Robocup junior 2020 virtual event. The team represents Colégio Objetivo, located in Juazeiro do Norte - CE and is composed of the following members: Alexsandro Ferreira Coelho (Coach), Yasmin Rodrigues Ferreira Coelho - (Editor), Luiz Henrique Santana Arrais Soares - (Programmer) and Antonio Lucas Sales Cavalcante Barbosa (Programmer). Our Robot is Draculaura. It was developed for the competitions of the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR) and for the Youth Robotics Tournament (TJR), both in the rescue mode. One of our robot's differentials is the claw, which has been adapted and uses two micro keys to identify the triangle in the rescue area. Another change was to connect these keys to the touch sensor. To identify the ramp and the rescue area, we use ultrasonic sensors on the sides of the robot. Our assembly is bucket style, that is, it scans, accommodates the victims and then deposits them in the disposal area. During the period in which we are in social isolation, our training has taken place at a distance through video calls between members.

About this virtual event

Virtual Presentation Event

RCJ Rescue would like to hold a virtual presentation event to have some conclusion to the 2020 RoboCupJunior year for rescue Line and rescue Maze. The idea of this virtual event is to have a formal opportunity for teams present their excellent work within the RCJ rescue community in a condensed form, and to have some sense of closure to the year.

Participating teams will create a video about their progress and work, which will be made available for other teams to host discussions and gain inspiration for the future.

While awards cannot be issued by the RoboCup Federation, teams participating will be recognised by the RCJ Rescue TC/OC committees and a range of awards will be given for outstanding presentations.
