Summary
This video presents the work developed by the SESI Fran Robot´s team from Franca, São Paulo, Brazil, aiming to participate in RoboCupJunior Rescue 2020, highlighting:
•Since May 2018, the team seeks to improve technologies, in addition to learning from the experiences obtained and shared during regional and state events, and in the country's national competition, held in October 2019;
•An update of the victim rescue mechanism with the possibility of identifying them, using energy conduction system and micro switch;
•The application of reverse engineering in components that use the I2C communication protocol of the microcontroller and the development of PCBs (Printed Circuit Board);
•3D modeling of the project, which allows minimizing assembly errors and helps in visualizing how the robot can overcome the challenges of the competition;
•The use of libraries and modular structures of the IDE (Integrated Development Environment) Arduino;
•The presentation of the challenges already accomplished and the pending issues, considering the rules of the current season;
•Finally, it is important to highlight that for the team, participating in this project goes beyond technological learning because, throughout the process, cooperation and the strengthening of socio-emotional skills truly contribute to the construction of a new phase of life.
