Summary

There are a lot of features at this robot that are going to be explained, starting with the construction of the project, the issues we had, the problems that we solved, and some more:
The robot of our team is inspired in the VOLVO GRYPHIN series of heavy machinery, as we were searching for a basic concept to put our minds into the work, the inspiration was much more technical than conceptual, because our mission was theoretically to create a robot that helps the people according to the rescue line category of competition, so, one of the first things we knew that we need to do looking at the circumstances was to build a robot that was not so heavy so it could go through the climbs, the prototypes of the project were having issues at this point, so that's the first thing we upgraded from the other prototypes, the problem was solved by moving the gravity center of the robot to the lower point that we could be considering our technical inspiration, we move the weight of the robot to achieve these stability goals, finally, we tested the robot in climbs that were up to 65° and relatively complicated tracks with success which was a really good advance for us.

About this virtual event

Virtual Presentation Event

RCJ Rescue would like to hold a virtual presentation event to have some conclusion to the 2020 RoboCupJunior year for rescue Line and rescue Maze. The idea of this virtual event is to have a formal opportunity for teams present their excellent work within the RCJ rescue community in a condensed form, and to have some sense of closure to the year.

Participating teams will create a video about their progress and work, which will be made available for other teams to host discussions and gain inspiration for the future.

While awards cannot be issued by the RoboCup Federation, teams participating will be recognised by the RCJ Rescue TC/OC committees and a range of awards will be given for outstanding presentations.
