Summary

Develop a robot design that can handle the challenges posed with a suitable position for the sensors required to handle the challenges.

Develop a Robotc program to handle the basic structure of line-tracing.

Improve the Robotc program to handle the more complex aspects posed by line tracing such as 90 degree and greater turns.

Develop the program to detect the various shades of green with ease using the color raw rgb of each sensor.

The program should be able to handle the various shades of green.
Design a set of utility functions to calculate the number of encoders required to go straight or turn for a certain number of centimeters and create a function to perform these movements.

Implement the use of a sonar sensor and successfully detect obstacles on various positions on the course.

Design a function that will move the robot in a circle when an obstacle is successfully detected. It should also check both sides for walls so that while avoiding the obstacle, it will not run into a wall.

Download this program to the bot and run it!!!!

About this virtual event

Virtual Presentation Event

RCJ Rescue would like to hold a virtual presentation event to have some conclusion to the 2020 RoboCupJunior year for rescue Line and rescue Maze. The idea of this virtual event is to have a formal opportunity for teams present their excellent work within the RCJ rescue community in a condensed form, and to have some sense of closure to the year.

Participating teams will create a video about their progress and work, which will be made available for other teams to host discussions and gain inspiration for the future.

While awards cannot be issued by the RoboCup Federation, teams participating will be recognised by the RCJ Rescue TC/OC committees and a range of awards will be given for outstanding presentations.
