Dear RoboCuppers,

RoboCupJunior 2024 was an amazing event again. We had 27 teams competing for Rescue Line, 24 teams for Rescue Maze, and 13 teams for Simulation. All Rescue Leagues competed with new rules for scoring, considering not only the robot performance but also evaluating the engineering process and documentation with posters, an engineering journal, and a technical description paper. We really appreciated this change, as we believe that engineering prowess is not the most important part of RoboCup Junior but being able to document and share your knowledge with others may be even more crucial. The general public and RoboCuppers were astonished by what teams could design, develop, and solve as they demonstrated their cleverness and problem-solving skills to overcome various challenges throughout the competition.
